New Yorks Laws

So New York is opening its doors for supposed “medical marijuana”. I think limiting what a patient can get to pills and tinctures is dumb as hell.  What about the anxiety that comes with medical issues? Smoking relieves the anxiety immediately.  So by limiting the products, their limiting the uses too, and who it can help.  This is almost a step back.  I don’t think it will be like this long though.  I think this will change over the next year or so.  What do you think? Are they on the right path? Should only a few people have access to relief? Please stop by and leave us a comment!

Free Weed

I think this is awesome!  I, personally, would be willing to give people 15% maybe even 20% of what i grew every year, for FREE, if I didn’t have to pay taxes on it.  Just a thought.  But it’s great to see people helping each other in a place that’s so secluded.  More power to them.  However is it fair? Should the government be able to prevent them from buying and selling it publicly? I think not.  These people should be legally allowed to go to the neighborhood dispensary and pick up whatever they need.  What’s your opinion?  Please leave us a comment.

Prescription Drugs are the Problem

This is an ongoing issue.  I personally grew up with more than a few friends that became addicted and died.  I also have other friends still addicted.  This is the real problem, not marijuana.  And in many studies, MARIJUANA has actually helped REDUCE the use of prescription pain killers.  Would you agree?  Please Comment to join the conversation.

Energy Efficiency

In today’s world with the laws how they are, being energy efficient is very hard but border impossible without huge amounts of money upfront.  If you are a private person there are some government programs that help one obtain solar panels for their home.  That is a good way but normally an expensive out of pocket cost.  Then you have to wait for our slow government to reimburse you.  Other option would be wind power.  But that’s even more expensive and takes years to recoup moneys.  So wind in all reality is not a very good option unless your in an extremely windy area.  Hydro would be my choice but how many people have the space and ability to build any sort of hydroelectric generator.  I have seen some really cool ones but they have tons of motors, lots of moving parts and fairly expensive.  There are some ways that you can recirculate water using a pump, and let gravity force the water over a pinwheel inside pvc.  With the right height this would generate more power than put in.  But it would not generate enough power to run a grow.  What do you think? Legalizing Weed is a Good thing

It’s been a few years now and Colorado hasn’t burned to the ground yet.  Many people speculated that Colorado would be in turmoil, however it seems to be the opposite.  I lived there for 5 years and this article seems to go with what I saw.  It was a very prosperous place.  Many new job opportunities and tons of friendly people.  If legalizing marijuana leads to this all over the country, it would be a good thing!!  Anyone have a different opinion? Moving for Marijuana

This seems to be happening more and more.  People relocating across the country just to be able to treat themselves or their kids with medical marijuana.  This is such a shame.  It should be legal everywhere, and no one should have to relocate just to be healthier.  What do you think?  Join the discussion by commenting below! To read the entire article: Click Here.

New York 20 Dispensaries

So New York just issues licenses to 5 companies and are allowing them each to open 4 stores.  A total of 20 stores owned by 5 companies….yes 5 companies.  I bet Ohio’s issue 3 looks a little better now.  So do you think this is a monopoly? and if so will it work? Join the discussion by commenting below! To read the entire article: Click Here.

Alkaline Diet

IMG_2094Over the past few years, in Denver, I have heard a lot about alkaline diets.  Also some tricks/tips but mainly changing what we eat.  Most of what we take in now has a ph of lower than 7 making it acidic.  If we can increase the ph to something just above 7, it seems to help aid in the healing/cleansing process.  Here is an article below that touches on the subject.  What do you think?
